In less than an hour, we will begin the funeral of my son. Jaidon was in a car accident with some friends. He lost his life with a friend of his. None of our lives will ever be the same.

I am angry, hurt, empty, sad, and still shocked. He will be laid to rest next to his Papa Andy, with whom he had the most amazing relationship.

To the families involved in this accident, we are so sorry. This accident has changed us all and we love you. We will continue to be there for you.

Jaidon was amazing. He overcame so much. We will begin our year of firsts without him. Starting with this Wednesday (my birthday) and Sunday for Father’s Day. I am attaching the news clip from last night with a request.

We have set up a scholarship fund for the Gifted and Talented with Learning Disabilities program that changed his life. Please consider donating to this in his name. His death will not be in vain. I love you Jaidon.

Today was the worse day of my life. A parent burying their child should never happen. Today hurt. I have a giant hole in my heart. But my son’s death will not be in vain. We have set up a scholarship in his name. I talked to his friends at the service today and they did not know he was in the Gifted & Talented / Learning Disability program at Walter Johnson High School. That is a testament to the teachers and staff at the school. That is what inclusion looks like.

Please consider donating to the new scholarship in his name to help a student in this program going to college.
