Today we went to the school to meet with Jaidon’s principal. Everyone we met gave us huge hugs and was so supportive. We delivered cookies as a thank you to the school for all their support and love. We picked up his diploma. I had mixed emotions of pride and sorrow. So proud of his accomplishment yet devastated that this was his last one.
This kid was headed far. He had plans to power through school then head to grad school for a masters and PhD. But they are no longer.
We are so thankful for all of his amazing friends and family who have taught us so much about him. The support has been overwhelming.
I have a Jaidon-sized hole in my heart and it hurts to breathe.
